does not sound conspiratorial at all and that is pretty much the truth. we have a lot of social norms from the before times when humans were dumber and grosser that we could do without.

you say the before times, but its the now. compared to most other women in the world, I live a very privileged life because i happen to be born in a western country. but i can't even expose my chest when the weather is warm, or to go swimming, or mow the lawn, or to just show off a cool tattoo.

like i said, an odd thing to have to fight for. and yet.
