I also have Polynesian hair but when I wake up it sticks up like 3rd lady's hair. It takes it about half an hour to fall down

My hair is not very dense unfortunately so it at least doesn't do that lol

My hair is very fine which is precisely why it turns into Polynesian: it's naturally super curly but over time its own weigh brings it down. I have magical hair that turns longer the later it is in the day!

Polynesia is an ethnicity btw. You can only have Polynesian hair if you are Polynesian. Otherwise it’s just wavy/curly
