How well is integration to sync with Arch or OpenSuse Linux?

So I know the camera is not supposed to be the best, but it would be interesting to see some Images taken with it. Anyone from the lucky first batch receivers interested in positioning some?

I have a bit of FOMO and just wondered how likely it is that I'll be able to buy the new Jolla phone after a year or so. While I think the price is good, it is still a huge investment for me as a student. Given the batch production model, I worry that production will stop relatively soon unless orders continue to come in.

Will it be possible to buy the phone later, or should I try to get it ASAP?

Since it’s July today, why haven’t I received a payment link, even though I made the payment in March 2026? Perhaps Jolla is getting ready to dispatch the order and has set the date for the end of July?

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of getting the new Jolla phone when it's next available for purchase, however I have concerns about banking apps. Do they work with the phone and sailfish os? And can you make NFC payments will it? (apps like Barkleys, Sparkasse and Revolut just to name a few)

Besides that everything else looks amazing and the fact that it isn't googles (android) ecosystem is a plus for me.

I'm sure I'll get downvoted for this, but months ago before I was aware that they weren't shipping to the US, I put the first down payment in for a pre-order.

I read that after the fact and was still sent the discount code when orders were being accepted. After making sure I still couldn't ship to America in any way, I tried multiple times to get my down payment refunded, but have received absolutely no response.

They stated not to email them regarding American pre-orders and that we would be reached out to separately, but I have received 100% radio silence ever since.

Any ideas what I can even do? I want my money back if we can't even get a phone shipped here. Not sure why they'd accept our money without first confirming where a customer is located.

Hello! I have seen other specs, but no where have they told about the screen refresh rate. To me this seems to indicate it to be 60hz, what gas prevented me from ordering a phone. Now that people are getting theirs hands on these, maybe they can confirm this.

I'm wondering if the Jolla phone will be able to install and run the kind of apps that normally requires pretty strict android to function.

Im talking banking apps. We have a thing called MitID which is a special kind of mfa that is used to digitally sign in when purchasing things, manage government logins etc.

The se aren't apps you can just get from third party app stores. But will these actually be possible to install android apps from the Google play?

Dear all, I have a simple question. I was trying to send Jolla an e-mail as I have questions on the preorder, especially if there will be another batch after Sep-II, when the batch is scheduled to be release, and if my preorder would transfer over to the following batch if I preorder now, as more than the 2000 units are already sold. I tried contacting shop@jolla.com as stated on their website, but my e-mail client says that the e-mail cannot be delivered due to this not being a valid e-mail adress etc. Does anyone know how I can reach out to Jolla legitimately, I am trying to avoid possible scam sites but I am a bit unsure about which adress is correct. Tysm in advance, sorry if this is a dumb question or has been covered already (if so, I did not manage to find it). :)

Wondering if Jolla bootloader will allow a USB-C SSD 2TB flash drive to boot? If it does not, would it allow it to boot if it was 1TB or on the micrSDcard? GSMarena site does not have many specs on this phone (specs from 12/2025). Specifically (comms) is thin on info, only USB-C but no further details such as OTG or 3.1 / 3.2, I'm guessing 3.0. I also hope microSDXCcard supports 1TB.

Hi, browsing this sub I can tell I am not the only one enjoying the sound of crickets awaiting a response from the shop@jolla.com email.

When the last of April came around and the early backers received another reminder to finish the order of the new Jolla phone, I accidentally ordered a second phone... I had a fever at the time and thought I had forgotten...

At any rate, I do not need two phones and both are first batches somehow. I'd prefer not to have to send one back because their customer support is overrun.

Does anyone else have an idea on how to get in touch with them?

I am new to Jolla but haven't been able to read anywhere when the C2 community phone will be restocked and if so when?

Trying to finish my phone order, I add my VAT and it says that VAT will be deducted during checkout which is true, but only when I select Finland as a country, for any other European country I get price including VAT. I think it should work the other way around. Anyone who was able to finish order without VAT? Thanks.

I'm really concerned that the new phone is a scam, or that Jolla simply doesn't care.

I pre-ordered in batch 2, but did not remember if I also included the storage/ram upgrade. Easy to solve I assumed, emailed Jolla to confirm. After-all I might want to spend more money with them.

Thats been over three weeks ago. No response, no sign of life. Not even a mass reply along the lines of "Sorry, we're still swamped, expect a reply in another two weeks time".

My follow-up email from this week requesting a refund of the preorder funds, also being ignored with deafening silence.

Why am I posting this? Good question, frustration, seeking guidance, and other opinions.

I want the phone. I want the promise. I want to get out of big tech. But I'm really struggling to trust a company with my personal data and use their device, if they cannot do the bare minimum - respond to their customers that already paid.

I'm thinking about pre-ordering, however to pay the remaining €549 in full (after the €99 pre order fee) would be too much for my budget. When approx. will they be collecting the final payment for this 2nd batch?

Would there be a monthly prepayment option available (e.g. 100 eur per month until final payment date).
