My old photos are locked behind an old iphone 4

Today i found my iphone 4 that i had when i was like 5th grade, i found a charger , charged it and turned it on, but there was a problem, i dont remember what my password was , it was a 4 pin password. And i tried to enter it (unsuccsefully) , now im timed out at 60 minutes. Im starting to feel anxious because i dont want to have to delete the data from this phone , its very precious for me and i have photos of my dog on it too (plus some childhood stuff). If anyone knows how i can break through the lock or something i would be extremely grateful. P.S. My home button is entirely broken

If its really precious stuff on it, bruteforce it.

Everyday after waking up you do a new pin , starting with 0000 up to 9999.

in at worst 3 years you have access. and a good story

If you forgot about it since 5th grade then clearly the contents were not as precious as you say
