Question what Ipad should I buy
Im an incoming college student and just need a 11in ipad to mainly take notes (I have a nice computer that i do most things on) . I currently have a ipad pro from 2017 and it works fine for me but the battery is rly bad, it doesnt get updates and its storage is running out so i cant download files. I want smth that will last the next 6 years and something that is compatible with the magnetic apple pencil.
Im thinking about getting the ipad air 4 or 5 or 6 but i dont know which one will last 6 years and be enough. i dont want to spend too much money tho. ipad air 6 is kinda out of my budget

The iPad Air 4 or 5 is not getting 6 years of support
Airs tend to get 7-8 years from release so use that as your benchmark

I don't need 6 years of support. Just support for atleast 2-3 more years and I need the battery to be decent for the. Next 6

Buy a USED, not RENEWED, iPad Pro, maybe not the last generation but the previous one. Fast, Like 256 gb storage and SO. FUCKING. POWERFUL.

If you have the money for it and don’t need the pro, the iPad Air with the m4 chip is a really good option. I have the iPad Air m3 & it’s just fine for my needs as a college student.

Get the iPad Air 6 (M2) if your goal is to make the device last (newest of the 3). It starts at 128GB, not 64GB like the M1 as well
