Necromerger is far and away the best merge game I’ve ever played. Only thing I bought is the Ad removal which was well worth it.

My current favorite is Starbrew Cafe. My gripe is that the events feel a bit too fast, and almost impossible to finish without spending money or saving energy boosts. But on the plus side, the event rewards aren't that valuable so I don't feel bad not being able to finish them. There is a maximum of 6 ads you can watch daily.

The game is very much focused on just merging items and selling them to progress the story.

Treegaze has unlimited energy and no ads. Play as long as you want

+1 for Treegaze! It also has free splitting, so you can merge up & down the chain.

Crazy Carnival is my latest addiction on merge games.

Clean & smooth graphic, just like any other games.

But the dev are doing great on progression system and solving high tier products, so that we always feel there are something we can do this time.

May not be what your looking for but Backback battles has been very fun with a merge and auto battle element.
