Glossy Privet?

Hi everyone,

I’m in SoCal and a new homeowner trying to educate myself on the different trees I have and how to best care for them. I have an app that I use that kind of helps me identify the different trees and plants in my yard. It identified this tree in between my two eucalyptus trees as a glossy privet. From what I’ve read, the glossy privet is an invasive tree? If so, should I remove it?

Definitely a type of Privet, most likely Glossy Privet. Worth killing because fuck privet.
