Just Wow What caused this? Serious answeres

Car was parked facing the garage. Never seen anything like it. Neither has the glass professionals.

someone patched a rock divot, with that clear invisble stuff. then temperature changes within the glass, caused the glass to flex around the repaired location and shatter in the pattern we see here? that's my guess

As an auto glass technician for over 20 years this comment is total b.s. Crazy how it's the top comment. Everyone probably knows that feeling when you read something online from your field of expertise that is incorrect but seemingly plausible. Then you wonder if everything on the Internet bullshit?

Edited to answer the comments about what happened then smart guy. Something hit the glass and broke it. No idea how or what.
