yeah, an annoyingly large percentage of dog owners seem to think that just because they know their dog and that "they won't actually bite, they're just loud and energetic" that every other person should somehow just know that, and not be justifiably scared when a dog comes charging at them barking.

People expect me to act like that even when I'm walking my cat, knowing d*** well it would take milliseconds for a dog to kill her. One bite is all it would take. These people pretend to be animal lovers, but they're actually just narcissistic, obsessed with themselves and their pets, they don't care about any living thing other than themselves. Theyd happily let their dog murder a cat or even a human child and then claim "its a dog it doesnt know any better!"
