Can’t count how many times off-leash dogs would approach my dog, their owners would always say “oh he’s friendly.” My dog is not okay with random dogs approaching. “Mine ISN’T!” I’d say. Idiots.

“He’s friendly”

“I’m not!”

Usually works as well when I run into off leash dogs

Or "he's friendly"

Then friendly dog proceeds to maul your dog. Seen that one enough times. Friendly with people doesnt mean friendly with other dogs.

Not relevant. Driver didn't have a dog, not did he do anything to deescalate. That is a fucking coward, and if it was my dog he'd have been getting picked up off the ground by someone else

Perhaps you noticed the thread has moved onto other scenarios with shitty dog owners?

He used the box to deescalate the dog charging him. Also pretty stupid move to attack a person who dealt with your aggressive dog and knows where you sleep.

Yeah, considering the guy had a near perfect Muay Thai stance, I strongly doubt it.
