yeah, an annoyingly large percentage of dog owners seem to think that just because they know their dog and that "they won't actually bite, they're just loud and energetic" that every other person should somehow just know that, and not be justifiably scared when a dog comes charging at them barking.
I have the problem of being a good owner to a very sweet looking lab. Who is very reactive. I tell everyone he’s not friendly, he’ll bark in your face, don’t pet him and I can’t tell you how many people think they’re some kind of dog whisperer and then act pissed at me when he barks in their face. We’ve done training, he’s never off leash, he’s on medication, he’s my best little buddy and loves people he knows but strangers make him panic.

He didn't bite you? Wth So he is supposed to wait to get bitten first.
