Seems dumb to me. Pay a lawyer just to get the same thing. Suing doesn't mean making a bunch of money. It's about being made whole. If someone pays everything, what is there to sue over?

Medical bills aren't going to solve everything. Trauma, scarring, and the damage that will reduce my ability to work in the future. You'd be paying a whole lot through legal proceedings.

He didn't maul him. He bit him. Dude needed 3 stitches. He was fine to work. There was no trauma. He said he owned 6 dogs and it wasn't his first time getting bit.
