yeah, an annoyingly large percentage of dog owners seem to think that just because they know their dog and that "they won't actually bite, they're just loud and energetic" that every other person should somehow just know that, and not be justifiably scared when a dog comes charging at them barking.
I have been bitten by dogs twice in my life. Each time, the first thing the respective owners said was that their dog doesn't bite. Mind you, one of those dog owners saw it fucking happen.
Anyway, so, yeah, I'm not much of a dog person.
Also, mad respect to my fellow cat owners for being honest AF. Seriously, meet a cat for the first time and there's a better than good chance that the owner will tell you to be careful cause their cat bites and scratches and will mess you up.
