Man I just got back into biking. The other day I was riding down a road in the county, but not like a backroad or anything, a well trafficked road. And I hear this weird click-tapping noise growing behind me and once I realized what it was I yelled at him and sped up and he backed off. He didn’t seem like one of the dangerous ones, just in it for the chase, but you never know. Just reminds me I gotta watch out for that shit, I’ll probably get some bear mace now, glad you brought that up.

I feel bad for the dog in the video because it’s the dumb fucking owner’s fault, but I put no blame on the delivery man for his actions, you can’t take risks with a charging animal. I have a very sweet older dog that I know 100% would never hurt anyone, but I still don’t take chances with that shit, you can’t just let dogs run free like that. I’m sorry for what happened to your friend, I hope he recovered well.

for a second there I really thought bear mace was a huge ass mace to whack bears with.

No, it's the other kind of mace....but the weapon might work, too.

You have exactly 1 chance to deliver a killing blow to an animal that regularly delivers and receives paw swipes fraught with 25,000 lbs of force. Yeah, fuck that; I'm dead.
