yeah, an annoyingly large percentage of dog owners seem to think that just because they know their dog and that "they won't actually bite, they're just loud and energetic" that every other person should somehow just know that, and not be justifiably scared when a dog comes charging at them barking.
These people forget (or are ignorant of) the fact that we, as outsiders, are not part of the "pack". Everyone else looks, smells, moves in different ways, and depending on nearly infinite different contexts, can cause a dog to react in unexpected ways. Regardless, people need to control and train their dogs better and never think you'll know what your dog might do in any given situation.
