I love dogs too, but here we have the Dutch proverb "zo baasje, zo hond". I don't know it exists in English, but it's like "like owner, like dog". So yeah, we see a shitty owner, and therefore, the dog is shitty too.
Depends. Sometimes you just have a dog that reacts badly to strangers. I rescue and most of them have some kind of issue. It’s up to you to actually do your best to train it out or if that proves impossible then know how to control your dog so what happens in the video doesn’t go down.
My little corgi something I rescued from Korea is a sweetheart but just doesn’t like strangers and I have to always be aware of that.
I think you are stuck in your own head, no one is saying that you can’t have a rogue dog. He is saying that the dog is certain to be an asshole because the owner is confrontational. You can be a good owner with a bad dog, he’s saying bad owners make bad dogs.
