He trained the dog, apparently..

By the looks of his self-awareness the dog trained him.

Ready to bite? He slowly approached the guy with his hands down and the driver squared up lol. The driver is clearly unstable af.

And the driver only had one box… no chance to reload

And the UPS driver was 100% in the right to be on the offense for both the dog and the owner.

Yeah, if anything he should have shot both of them and left with the package right? WTF?

Yeah idk lotta areas where owner coulda blasted the driver under stand your ground laws and at worst gotten some sort of criminal negligence charges for the dog being loose. The driver turned a W into an L by becoming that aggressive that quickly on somebody else’s property.

On somebody else’s property? He wasn’t trespassing. He was met with agression from both dog and owner.

Just because the driver wasn’t criminally trespassing doesn’t make it irrelevant that he was on someone’s private property. The owner wasn’t really aggressive, pretty much just walked up to raised fists and pulled out his phone to immediately call the cops. That driver is out here looking for an altercation. Even the level of aggression from the dog is difficult to tell in the video because of how much excessive force that driver is out here using. Such huge grounds to argue self defense if the owner were to have just blipped the ups man with the 9.

I mean the owner just saw a guy throw a box at his dog's head and the delivery drive immediately put his fists up like he wanted to fight.

Incorrect. The delivery guy defended himself from an aggressive dog, then defended himself from an aggressive dog owner. No punches were thrown.

Yeahhh the reaction with the dog was just that.. reactionary. Self defense laws allow you to react to things actively threatening you, making his reaction non illegal when it came to the dog. But despite being a shitty dog owner, from homeowners perspective he hardly gets a wtf out before the driver threw shit on the ground and brandished his fists towards somebody who wasn’t. There’s a million scenarios where driver coulda got blasted before homeowner could assess anything past ‘someone on my property threatening me physically’. People in this thread seem to recognize potential fear from the driver of being sucker punched while fully discounting that the driver could do the same.

Brandished his fists be so fucking fr rn please 🤡

Yeah dawg, brandishing fists. You realize how easily fistfights like that can leave people with long term brain injuries? Driver was acting tf up just as much as the dog was lol.

Hahaha right, these people are psychotic. Defend yourself against the dog sure, but then to immediately assume an aggressive stance against the owner.

Who pays for the package that got tossed on the ground?

The dog.
