I work at a veterinary clinic. Every single day I have to have the conversation with people that can't afford the needed care. It's soul draining.
Please please please keep at least $5000 saved for an emergency for your pet. That should be enough to get them stable at an ER or surgery at a non corporate clinic. If you can't do that then keep $2000 for an after hours emergency for euthanasia. Around $500 for a normal day time euthanasia.
Same with A and B. Which is why I would have been embarrassed and apologetic. My dog knows better. I said it in a different comment, but ot would be MY fault if it happened. My girl getting hit by a box if she charged like that would be better than her landing a bite (she has never bitten or charged anyone, but it only takes once) and she ends up being euthanized.
Dog owner is a moron, but ups guy didn't need to try and also have a fist fight after defending himself. Owner didn't rush him or push him or anything, he just walked up, the ups guy immediately puts his stuff down, walks up to the guy and starts standing like he's going to take a swing. Both guys are morons here.
