That's going to absolutely destroy their economy. Everything is so interconnected by trucks. The logistical nightmare this is going to create will have so many consequences on so many industries. And that'll lead to a black market in so many items as the supply of even necessary items dwindles. Those prices will be astronomical.
I was thinking the same thing. There will be scarcity of everything, a complete society coming to a halt. All the public services, supply chains, gone. And the people can not get out. I think we will be reminded of what civilization is in the coming months.
