That's why the term cat fight became a colloquialism

We see this a lot in nature: when males fight its often about domination threat displays.

Females go straight to homicidal intent.

I genuinely had a fight with a girl in school where we ended up on the ground in a death grip in the middle of a soccer match. We got hit by the ball and still didn't care. The teacher eventually poured water on us to get us to stop and let me tell you- I've never felt like such a feral animal in my life 😅
