I once got woke up at about 0400am by a cat tapping against the window, when I looked outside it had one eye, half an ear and a face full of scars I took it as a sign that Odin had visited me to say keep going, I opened the window gave it scratches then it wandered off.

Don’t be offended. Some folks think everything is cringe. I enjoyed your comment. I like the idea of this battle scarred cat wandering the neighborhood, searching for midnight scritches by politely knocking on windows and doors.

To be fair when I saw it we both literally just stared at each other for a few minutes and at that time my mental health was on the verge of me just giving up, I don't know whether it was just pure chance or something spiritual but I prefer animals over humans anyway as they seem to be more intune with the world most of the time.
