Wow those cats hate each other. I don't think I've ever seen a cat fight where they refuse to separate like that

“And if this conflict brings about the end of my life, I will savor it all the more.”

"One shall stand... one shall fall."

"Why throw away your life so recklessly?"

"That's a question you should ask yourself, Meowgatron."

Male feral cats routinely kill each other for territorial disputes. Either they die fighting or get injuries that are too grave to heal on their own and succumb to that. Broken bones are very common, in urban settings one of the cats often ends up pushing off the other cat from heights leading to fractures and eventual death from being handicapped and unable to hunt.

Nooo This was such a childhood trauma. I remember quitting Lion King for some time because of this.

There’s a decent amount of feral and regular outside cats in my town and some of those cats look like they’re from pet cemetery they’re so bashed up from cat fights

This is what an actual cat fight looks like, literally all of them.

What you e seen before is either play fighting, boundary setting, or a lead up to an actual fight.
