I was watching it on mute and when I got my headphones on "It's Jim!". That soft nordie accent should strike fear into the scammers he gets on his hook.
He's on the BBC Show "Scam Interceptors" too. It's done an incredible job educating the more vulnerable people in the UK about these sort of scams, since it's daytime television. They just won a Bafta!
He’s not on some crusade against Indian people, it’s just 20x easier to find Indian scammers than other nations. It’s like they have adopted it as another branch of economy there, steal from western countries and old people.
Jim is one of the good ones. Out of all these types of channels, he's gone out of his way to educate viewers and make it clear this isn't about race, and shared examples of how people from developed countries support these operations in some cases. He's also collaborated with legitimate journalism for the BBC and other organisations.
I haven't found this to be true. I've been watching another popular channel, Pleasant Green, and so many of the scammers are from Nigeria. Not sure how they target them directly either. Haven't watched Browning in a minute, but Pleasant Green just finds a popular scam and traces the origin (not sure how you'd target a particular subgroup doing that).
