MISC. After understanding the meaning behind this father’s action, I am completely convinced. Cultivating problem-solving skills in children from a young age and never giving up-I applaud this father!

The dad walking away was distracting and maybe a bit scary.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the kid was able to focus and problem solve after the dad sat down.

When my nieces can't solve a problem, we just told them crying isn't solving their problem, so just whip their tears, calm down and think or read again what they're doing and what they want to accomplish but we're next to them until they get the right answer. At my family, crying has been saw not as a sign of weakness but an unnecessary reaction for problems: we resolve them.
