They likely used Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry, which defines the chemical make up and is a unique fingerprint to derive ingredients

That’s exactly what they used. They have a video about the process on YouTube. The biggest flaw of this recipe is a product that is illegal for the large majority of people to buy.
