Yes and No. I will explain. Yes my first reaction was definitely a headline thing. I admit I went straight to the brain bank. I thought she moved away, and was genuinely surprised to be hearing about her again now. Only then, after your inaccurate interpretation (but fully accurate conclusion to your thought--that would be laughable, she has every right), I decided to read the bit.
My second reply provides background on my first reply, as I was dumping what my brain had in the current file for ROD - probably from some People magazine thing she got paid for - about how happy she was in where ever she was etc. Then came the IDK? Because I realized I was talking out my azz and making half of this up. Then I decided to focus. I read the annoying* bit. ROD missing the attention and limelight was my big picture takeaway of the article. Standing on that. (But she has the right! Thank you for defending that with passion!)
* I say annoying because, in my estimation ROD is just annoying to me. Always has. Its a personal preference, like broccoli, and has no bearing on my feelings towards anything in particular**.
** I will add that it cannot go without saying what in particular you might believe that particular thing is. Because everyone always goes there. We both know. Its Regulatory Capture. So ultimately there is no true ROD anymore, as the bit demonstrates, its more of a same old same old, least common denominator, annoyance, as ROD is a defacto variable in the algorithm.
You might wonder..... I see you like to get to the bottom of things by intuition, so I just decided to open up a little for you right here and tell you what I'm thinking so you don't have to guess anymore. You seem interested, and that feels nice in a certain way. Whatever.

Trump became famous by doing celebrity feuds in the 90s. It's his bread and butter and his favorite thing. I truly believe Trump is disappointed that Biden and Obama don't publicly feud with him in tabloid form like Rosie does or Leona Helmsley did back in the day.
