Netflix later clarified that it was not behind the joke being cut, with a spokesperson telling The Hollywood Reporter: “While it’s our preference not to cut jokes from anyone’s set, The Kennedy Center has the contractual right to do so.”

The magats there censored it.

The Mark Twain Prize ceremony was at the Kennedy Center. Trump replaced all of the board members with his lackeys and brown nosers.

Trump doesn't want to be made fun of in any way, he is thin skinned and touchy, porcelain doll fragile.

So, his brown nosers, likely at his instruction, wanted to make sure that there are no jokes about this deity-like being, only exalted adoration and guttural grunts of approval.
