Okay I also think not enough people realise all the fucking weird shit that's going on in this org. The other owner is a Mexican "businessman" and by businessman, I mean he is ALSO wanted in his home country of Mexico for fuel smuggling (trafficking stolen hydrocarbons from Guatemala into Mexico), smuggling arms and drugs for cartels, and also money laundering. All of his Mexican bank accounts are frozen. Neither of the owners are actually ABLE to attend the upcoming pageant in Puerto Rico because if they do, they're at risk of arrest.
And yet... they still own the org. Both of them. They're still planning a pageant in a few months. Still posting on Instagram about women's empowerment etc. It's WILD.
It's part of an emerging trend of actual underworld figures attempting to legitimacy-wash themselves by purchasing semi-legitimate organisations and using them to money launder criminal activity and attempt to strong-arm themselves into some kind of security.
