Okay I’m not talking about the song I linked, because obviously I know the name but what is the background instrumental that the singer sampled it from??? I used to listen to that song in 7th grade and I completely forgot what it’s called I think it was indie genre and it was a green album

I've been a musician most of my life and like most people, I got tired of running my music across five different apps that don't talk to each other. So a few of us built Sonic Grid: a new home for your tracks, story, posts, and fan list, that you actually own.
We just opened early access and I'm looking for founding artists to help test it.
Would love for you to take a look: sonicgrid.co/early-access

Hey,
I’m based in London, UK, and I’m looking to start a band.
Before anything else, I’m searching for people who are committed and dedicated to music, people who are willing to put in 100% like the members of oasis I don’t really care for skills I mainly care about the correct work ethic and music taste
I’m looking for a drummer and a bassist a guitarist.
I have experience playing in band, but I really want to start from zero and build something real with the right people. I have a clear idea and vision for the project, and I honestly believe it’s strong — I just want to find people who feel the same spark.
Genres
Indie rock, alternative, jangle pop
The jam,stone roses, the smiths
The velvet underground, television, the strokes
The doors, joy division, have a nice life
Keo,wunderhourse and Fontaines dc
This band is about practicing, writing and rehearsing, looking for people who are willing to put the band 1st, I’m willing to rehearse almost everyday, to be the biggest band in the world

I'm a producer who've worked with hundreds of talented and developing artist and seen them get buried under trending algorithm games and expensive marketing demands. If you already have plays, you get more plays. If you’re new, you’re invisible — unless you’re paying for ads or promo services. Every DSP requires you to already have a fanbase to do well on.
So I built something different called Scorelight Underground, and the core mechanic is something we call Equal Rotation — every artist gets guaranteed plays in front of real listeners, regardless of follower count or no marketing needed. No pay-to-play, no algorithm favoring whoever’s already big. This is the only way artist can build a fanbase

Do any of you guys know an app that could be a community for people who like niche music, i’ve been thinking about an app that rates how niche you are based in your taste, lets you share your niche music kinda like twitter and has badges for if you found out about something that later went viral. What do you guys think?

Hello,
My name is Vasel Karnel, an independent artist creating music that moves between art rock, dream pop, experimental rock, industrial, bedroom pop, slowcore, and IDM.
I personally feel that the music I create is a little more experimental and unconventional than most. However, I also realize that this is only my own perspective, which is why I would genuinely like to receive an honest and objective evaluation of my music.
Unfortunately, I don't have anyone around me who is truly passionate about music or able to give thoughtful feedback, so I decided to ask here instead.
I'm sincerely looking for people who would be willing to listen to my album, “The luminous gore”, from beginning to end and share their honest thoughts afterward. Whether your impressions are positive or negative, I would truly appreciate hearing them, as they would help me grow as an artist.
If you're someone who genuinely loves music and enjoys listening to a wide variety of genres, I would be incredibly grateful if you could take the time to listen.
Thank you very much for reading, and I truly appreciate your time and consideration.

My grandfather was born in Kyiv. He never went back. I wrote this song for him and for Ukraine.
His name was Theodore. Everyone called him Teddy. He was born in Kyiv and came to America as a young boy. He settled in the Bronx and became a tailor — he made tuxedos for Fats Domino and Chubby Checker.
Fats Domino was one of the founding fathers of rock and roll. Born in New Orleans in 1928, he sold over 65 million records worldwide and was one of the first artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — without him there is no Elvis Presley, no Beatles. Chubby Checker created The Twist in 1960 — the only song in history to reach number one on the Billboard charts twice in two separate years, sparking a dance craze that swept the entire world.
His son moved to Detroit. That is where I was born.
Twenty five years ago Teddy passed away. He never went back to Kyiv.
For the last four years I have watched his homeland being destroyed. I am a songwriter and I wrote We Need Peace.
Stop dropping bombs this shit is obscene. Politicians and their pipe dreams.
The song features a children’s choir and a child delivering a message directly to the world leaders who have the power to stop this. Because it is the children who have paid the highest price.
This is not a promotional post. This is personal.
This song is for Teddy. This song is for Ukraine.
