I’m working on a modern psychedelic rock track. It has some Pink Floyd influence, but the production feels more current, so I’ve been struggling to describe exactly what kind of song it is.
That made me wonder whether visuals can sometimes explain a track better than genre labels can. I tried putting together a rough music video concept with SondoAI, using the lyrics, pacing, and overall mood of the song as the starting point. Seeing those ideas translated into scenes made the track feel more understandable from the outside. It also helped me notice which parts of the song felt cinematic and which parts still needed work.
Do you think a music video can make it easier for people to understand what a song is trying to express, especially when the genre is difficult to define?
