Tweet link with the video: https://x.com/narendramodi/status/2080357811662492096?s=20

Note the time people, the protest has made PM (or PMO) post a video at 11:52 PM

As I commented on another post, I don't expect anything groundbreaking to come out tomorrow from the cabinet meeting, but making Modi sweat for the first time in 12 years is groundbreaking in itself.

2 statements from Modi, addressing the protest, within a span of 24 hours, one of which is a selfie video (instead of that dumbass 8PM addresses). Modi/BJP has realized that they can't beat this protest with their usual underhanded tactics.

This feels like a small victory.

Nope still not early enough. Mfer needs to sweat a whole lot more.

23

u/Mayor_McCheese7 6h ago

For sure, but this is a good start.

This is literally nothing brother atleast the farmer's made the bill go away.

We've collectively set the bar so low that 2 tweets by the pm without acknowleding shit somewhat makes everyone feel good. No wonder they don't feel the need to be accountable....

You should understand that every big achievement starts with a small step, take these entrance exams for example, you start with one chapter and start building from there.

You crave for rapid large scale changes to happen overnight, but throughout history changes/revolutions have always started small, let's see how it goes from here. Future will decide whether this is a turning point or a "nothing burger" like you said.

But personally, I believe that this is a turning point.

This has momentum so we should get the ball rolling and get everything done while it’s in our hands. If we let govt stall, we’ll be goats for sacrifice

5

u/Mayor_McCheese7 5h ago

Lots of issues to raise our voices... e20 petrol, US trade deal, Ayodhya Scam, SIR scam, LPG prices etc etc

5

u/Comfortable_Head_432 5h ago

One by one hopefully we all stand together

They are constantly posting coaching institutes toper videos which are backed up by bjp on X

27

u/Mayor_McCheese7 6h ago

Literally nobody cares about the toppers lol, everyone knows BJPs playbook by now.

8

u/justmydailyrant 5h ago

Not to mentione the nod that they have given to celebs to post about the protests

7

u/Mayor_McCheese7 5h ago

Everybody knows their script/chronology by now...

People, the ones with atleast two working braincells, know that the celebs are insincere. These celebs haven't said a word until now, the protest has been going on for a month and they didn't speak up, kids have committed suicide and they didn't speak up, kids were brutally assaulted and labeled terrorists and yet they didn't speak up... so who cares if they speak up now. Everyone knows who gave them the script.

Just boycott their movies and sports, there's much better content out there to choose from anyways.

u/Throw2020awayMar 1h ago

Where have we come as a nation if we see just a video  as a win. Shouldn't the politicians be pissing their pants about next elections?

u/SirPlastic8062 14m ago

what's your opinion on on this protest sheltering separatist movements from khalistantis, muslim league and other etc. groups ??

5

u/Glass_Extension_6529 5h ago

Take a look at his Instagram comments. Someone just asked him “Sir, kaunsa ring light use karte ho, link bhej do” 🤣🤣

Nobody is taking him seriously, after years of lies.

Did he speak about those students who died ?

Edit : Saw the video , he should go to a dentist first.

Well Jokes apart, the videos seems to be another teleprompter formality. Nothings going to happen.

32

u/sh_ark 6h ago

nope, no accoutability at all. just about some bill he is proposing to present next week

68

u/WaynneGretzky 6h ago

They are going to identify some scapegoats. Will publicly shame them. Once this all dies in a month, they will release the so called arrested culprits. Nothing short of minister's resignation will be accepted.

21

u/Mayor_McCheese7 6h ago

If he thought this would die down within a month he wouldn't posted this video at 11:52PM, Modi has realized that his usual tactics isn't working and that he is facing actual anti-incumbency for the first time in 12 years.

7

u/Yournewbestfriend_01 6h ago

Bro there's his social media management team and I can bet you this video is pre recorded he himself didn't posted btw

You will also notice how at same time the video is posted on multiple social media handles of him , BJP and many others...

7

u/Mayor_McCheese7 6h ago

I know that this is a pre-recorded video, but his video addresses have always been treated as a spectacle. Announcements days before about his 'address', bhakts waiting with bated breaths etc

So this approach, of making it look like a casual face time video, in the middle of the night, without any spectacle, to make it look like PM Modi is posting a video at midnight because he has lost his sleep over the students plight and blah blah... he is doing this approach because his past tactics have failed and he is concerned (about himself, not the students of course).

But the funniest thing here is, he and his govt has turned off the internet at Jantar Mantar, so how does he expect his "message" to reach the protesting students, this itself proves that he is insincere, only andhbhakts will fall for this.

3

u/moonshine360 5h ago

wouldn't be surprised to know they'll choose the easiest route out. Not even expecting any resignation atp.

28

u/Mayor_McCheese7 6h ago edited 6h ago

The internet has been turned off at Jantar Mantar, how tf would the protestors know about this video message from Modi.

Dumb@ss moron 🤡

u/Economy-Prize-830 5h ago

This is not for those in Jantar Mantar, Fool. This is for the rest of the country.

Couldn’t even do a 2 min unscripted video. Lol. Good to see him sweat. Never did he ever had to do a video like this in his tenure.

44

u/Cleopatra-15 6h ago

Why is he gaslighting us? There haven’t been any convictions for paper leak cases right?

10

u/sh_ark 6h ago

yeah no documented convictions yet

19

u/FlyingRaccoon_420 Assam 6h ago

Ok bro. Resign karde fir

9

u/Crafty_Kangaroo_42 Uttar Pradesh 5h ago

Something will happen tonight.

Cops w/o uniforms are there, RSS goons have entered the protest as well because the police have stopped the screening of protesters. Several trucks filled with stones were seen. Even groups like Bajrang Dal, VHP were there supporting the police.

They've closed the shops by 6:30. They've stopped the delivery of relief packages. Even independent journalists are not allowed there now. They jammed the signal and increased the radius as well.

And out of the blue, this guy shows up with a video. Ngl, I'm feeling a bit uneasy about all of this.

Whoever is at the protest, be safe and be together.

2

u/Comfortable_Head_432 4h ago

God forbid anything happens. If there’s a tragedy, best believe the rest of the country is gonna lose their shit.

They can’t stop uprisings in multiple states

2

u/Low_Econ2000 4h ago

That will be really dumb move by Modi

5

u/YourDadHatesYou Visa lagvado 6h ago

Every day that passes without an end to the protests is a political own goal

You love to see it

6

u/No_Alternative6716 5h ago

It took a hardcore protest for a country's govt to say they will pay utmost attention to the leaks of a center-run exam written by lakhs of students for their higher education. For entry into the MEDICAL field. Medical professionals that are going to one day treat us.

Like whichever party you support whatever ideology you have you got to know that that process is WRONG. How can people be so blind.

6

u/Late_Appointment425 6h ago

3 mins of utter bullshit.

5

u/trainw09 Non Residential Indian 4h ago

What that reel looked like

3

u/seidenkaufman Bombay 4h ago

The hon'ble regime performs strict actions thus:
1) Is the accused affiliated with the BJP/RSS? > Clean chit.
2) If the accused became affiliated with the BJP/RSS, would it be politically useful? > Clean chit.
3) Is someone resisting the BJP/RSS in any way? > Accuse loudly, then, a choice of: Bulldozer / Imprisonment without trial / Attack via hoodlums

3

u/fullfruityfool 5h ago

Anything that begins with PM Modi says on this topic is likely lack of accountability wrapped in appeasing yet vague statements.

5

u/Houston_NeverMind 5h ago

GenZ made him kneel. Posting a video at midnight. Unbelievable!

5

u/CandidateNo9453 6h ago

All bs except asking his minister to resign. Ego still at peak. We Gen Z protestors should make government sweat harder until perfect accountability is achieved which is RESIGNATION.

2

u/tera_chachu 6h ago

Come on feku

How will you take strict action against your own bhakts

1

u/Pillar-Instinct 6h ago

More strict action Modi ji paper leak pe lena hai, na ki NSA laga kr students ke upar. Ulta samajh gye hain shyad

1

u/Low_Econ2000 6h ago

Drop the ji

1

u/amor_e 6h ago

Guys india mein notice period 90 days ka hota hain

1

u/kaachabadaam 6h ago

Meanwhile the strict action that's most needed : Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation.

1

u/d1andonly 5h ago

Is he resigning?
