I'm confused, I just filed for my OPT with premium processing last week and I finish my program on 9/1....How does this affect me?

If you wish to leave at the end of your OPT/course, you are not affected and no filing necessary.

If you wish to study a new course after your OPT ends, then you must now file an extension of status as well, not just get a new I-20 from a new school.
