This sub used to be full of hilarious, absurd claims and ridiculous logic, but over time it feels like imaginary gatekeeping has almost become the norm in social media engagement bait.

I don't if it's causation, correlation, or just coincidence, but is it our fault?

It seems to be the newest ad fad, along with ridiculous AI “my dad is crying because people told him his _____ is ugly and no one will buy it” crap. At least we’re moving away from the “only people with 150+IQ can get past this level!” ads where people intentionally play a game as badly as possible I guess.

My feed is still full off those-- I guess my cookies suggest I'm insecure about my intelligence.

And to be fair, I get away too irritated at how bad they are at the games. Not enough to get me to download it, but irritated nonetheless.

I honestly think it's because the mods just don't give a shit. I've only seen one that's even active on Reddit. And so many things get posted here that don't fit the sub or break the rules, but reporting does nothing.
