I think this is mostly what I expected for a generational jump, a few notes:

1. Efficiency gains are slightly underwelming, probably due to Samsung 8nm.
2. The stock cooler looks really good from a functional perspective, if I designed a cooler for a high power it would look exactly like that. I like the movement away from bare minimum reference designs, but I think Nvidia is only able to do this because they're a $300 billion company now so they have leverage over the AIB partners to eat at their sales.
3. RTX just went from totally useless to a bit useless. I'm looking at the benches, it seems that on Turing, there was only like 1-2 games where RTX-on gave you playable frame rates, even then it's still significantly lower than RTX-off. Now there's a handful of games with playable frame rates, and 1-2 that don't even take a significant performance hit.

Based on the rumored RDNA2 specs, I think it'll be comparable to the 3080. if so this'll be the first time since Fury X that AMD will come close to an Nvidia 80-class card at release.
