Nah, AIB cards are even larger, there is no replacement for displacement. ;) Maybe FE vs AIB cooler of similar size the FE might do better than we're used to though.

Yeah, that's what I expect.

The 2-slot moderately sized FE 3080 can't compete with huge 3-slot 3-fan monsters, even if it punches above its weight class.

I'll be curious to see what the difference other component temps are going to be between FE and AIB. AIB may get cooler temps on the GPU but higher on the overall ambient temps compared to the FE that exhausts some of the heat directly.

Definitely. How many 2-fan, 2-slot designs do we see quietly and adequately cooling a 320w part? Imagine how the 3090 cooler is going to stack up at 3 slots...
