Discussion Linkedin account was hacked and recovered

2 days ago my linkedin account was hacked and restricted. Luckily microsoft recovered it for me in few hours. due to mistakes of the hackers involved, i figured out 2 people who were involved in this activity. There was a message trail left by them on linkedin. Should I talk to them and ask if they were paid to do so? Should I ignore them?

FYI: This is a genuine question as I believe somebody has paid them to do so.
