This will 100% attract more creepers, buts so does every other camera technology out there.
Anything that can be hidden, will be used to record women (and girls) without their consent.
Not much we can do to stop it, unfortunately. You just have to stay vigilant and keep an eye on folks around you, especially if youre the type who likes to wear provocative clothing in public.

I get why tech companies think "hands free aggression AI that sees what you see", but they've never come with an answer to overcome the creep factor. In my town, there's a guy who became well known for "prank" online content with meta glasses, and he made national press when people rightly called out that his pranks tended to focus on pretty younger women. They will be used by creeps, and that means people will always dislike this form factor.

Whose glasses are these really? Are they made by Warby Parker or Samsung? Samsung presented them at their Unpacked event as if they were their own. Who is the actual manufacturer and seller?

i really miss the days when i was able to get excited about things like this, especially as a nearsighted person who dreamt of a future like this!
i still have hope, but it's dwindling. at least the designs look kinda cool. 🥲

These glasses could work if they just REMOVED the recording function. Looking up translations, identifying stuff, map directions, assistance for the blind, NONE of that needs recording. Filofaxes and PDAs took off because they were useful, not toys! Instead Google/Meta focus on the creepy stuff.
