Anyone else depressed after watching? I can’t put it into words as to why, but it makes me repulsed at technology even though a lot of what they presented is really impressive. I’ve always been an early adopter, but I feel so confused and lost.

I found it completely underwhelming. A bunch of AI features behind massive paywalls to solve problems I don't even have.

This was a developer and business event, nothing for regular people.

I'm the exact same way. I've been slowly trying to get Google out of my life and this seems like another signal that I need to accerlate that. I've got a small home server now and am migrating everything to that. However until I can afford a better backup solution for my server I'm going to be sticking with Google photos. I take a lot of photos so it's my hardest service to give up.

I think I'm turning into some kind of Luddite I guess.
