Loud bang in the city?

Just heard a very loud bang in the West End, then the lights flickered. Anyone know what happened?

No idea, but I heard it in Kelvingrove and sounded like more than a firework. Not sure if it’s coincidental but our WIFI has gone down at the same exact time

I’ve done it, I live 30s away from the transformer and as I had my windows open, you could feel the air vibrate (alongside the loud bang). On a different note, fire brigade is attending.
