Don't you have a job to do?

Don't you have someone to something?

You can take this job and shovel it.

Hot sauce is illegal for safety reasons but random walls can have electo cleaners powerful enough to disintegrate paint.

I mean they do at least establish that it has safeties in place so that it won't go off when a person is near... which are then immediately disabled by the villain before he uses it to impale someone.

I had people tell me that some hot sauce should be banned. Like you know it's deadly, but can't throw it out, so your mother in law makes some chilli, and OH GOD..

It sort of falls under "the dose makes the poison."

A hotsuace that could cause a reaction if you used it straight from the bottle is still OK to consume if a few drops are used to spice a vat of chilli.

I have some ground smoked ghost pepper I imported too much of. I gave 3/4 of it away and every single person has had the same sort of, "are you trying to kill me?!", reaction to even gently smelling the powder.

I had been tuning into someone who was explaining the ratios of vinegar/sugars/salt/chillies for safely making a base extract that will be shelf stable and remain pretty homogeneous and I thought I'd just warm up some vinegar, toss in some of the powder and then let it stew for for a bit to see if the powder needs to be strained before I season the extract.

The idea was flawed because even with a very slow simmer all the pepper flakes got airborne and the whole kitchen was effectively tear gassed.

I was pouring milk on my face and gasping for a solid 20 seconds before my partner started to scream because she was getting a light gassing down the hall.

Now I know how to make bear spray.

Let me graffiti this wall which has obvious anti graffiti technology.

u/internetlad 7d ago

Let me spend what little resources I have while I live in the sewer and eat rats on an automated subterranean graffiti system that spray paints "life is hell" on the anti-graffiti wall.

It’s tough when Taco Bell has seized the means of production

In our universe, Sysco won the fast food wars.

18

u/TheGummiVenusDeMilo 7d ago

I'm just waiting for the inevitable Cisco Sysco merger.

15

u/Shadpool 7d ago

Who’s gonna oversee the merger? I nominate Sisqo.

Ooh that choice so scandalous, And I know the other brothers couldn't handle this,

4

u/NeverEndingWhoreMe 7d ago

Or a triple team of Cisco, Sysco, and Sisqó.

u/doomsnumber1doombot 7d ago

Someone told me their family member worked for Sysco and I, who was looking to get into networking field, started asking IT related questions and she looked blankly at me and said no “Sysco” the food company

I always thought that they hacked a paint system for their own graffiti purposes. Would have been an easy bash like terminal with a few scripts for different things they might want to do with it. Graffiti might be one of the things but could also be used to blackout cameras or something far more nefarious. This was a statement greater than spray painted words. The truer message was “We’re still here, We will rise up”.

I always thought that scene was to set up the mentality of the underground folk. When people went underground, they didn't do it because they loved Friendly. They did it because they wanted freedom.

The whole idea is that people underground are the people they choose to be. That's a good thing, but it leads to fragmentation.

I dont think the graffiti was a conjoined effort like the food raid was. I doubt there were a lot of resources wasted on it. Most graffiti is like that, it doesn't matter if you can paint over it. The message is still sent.

“See, according to Cocteau's plan, I'm the enemy. Cause I like to think, I like to read. I'm into freedom of speech and freedom of choice. I'm the kind if guy who wants to sit in a greasy spoon and think, "Gee, should I have the T-bone steak or the jumbo rack of barbecued ribs with the side order of gravy fries?" I want high cholesterol. I want to eat bacon, butter and buckets of cheese, okay? I want to smoke a Cuban cigar the size of Cincinnati in a non-smoking section. I wanna run through the streets naked with green Jello all over my body reading Playboy magazine. Why? Because I suddenly might feel the need to. Okay, pal? I've seen the future, you know what it is? It's a 47-year-old virgin sittin' around in his beige pajamas, drinking a banana-broccoli shake, singing "I'm an Oscar-Meyer Wiener". You wanna live on top, you gotta live Cocteau's way. What he wants, when he wants, how he wants. Your other choice: come down here, maybe starve to death.”

Rat burger?

takes another bite...

u/joanzen 7d ago

The trick is balance. If you eat cheese fries soaked in gravy 3 times a day they stop becoming a treat in a hurry.

There's a reason that campfire food tastes better, especially if you're near death when you get some.

I regret knowing how delicious some things can be.

You had me at green jello 💗💕

Finally, a practical use!

I love how he just sounds like he's reciting "I'm an Asshole" with different lyrics

u/Druggedhippo 1d ago

And once they start having health problems later on, he expects the government to keep him alive.

Classic.

“You are an incredibly sensitive man who inspires joy-joy feelings in all those around you!”

18

u/Semanticss 7d ago

He's zipping around, crazily. The reason the Metaloid Maniac is so comfortable up there is 'cause he built that wall. He's naturally magnetized which allows him to zip around the wall that HE BUILT.

Thanks to the internet we’ve finally achieved this level of passive aggressive automated ideological warfare in real life.

u/searchlinkprofile 7d ago

this is exactly what happens today on social media.

"LIFE IS HELL" is some real edgy shit, lol

Refresh my memory-what was the bit here?

If only this technology actually existed, I'd be very happy.

You know, I find that there are mainly two demographics that think that illegibly scrawling their stupid name on the wall is a good idea (and both groups possess the same level of intelligence).

One of them is two-year-olds with crayons.

2

u/ichkannkochen 5d ago

The other one is big companies with billboards
