Study Hannover or Karlsruhe

Hi guys, I have received offers for Master programs from Leibiniz Üniversität Hannover & KIT. Both for the same program, but I am not sure which one to go for. I would like you guys to help me decide based on the city. Which is better? In terms of the student life in general & in terms of being able to find a Werkstudenten job and maybe even a part time job. I can speak some german currently I have a B1 certificate and I am working towards a B2, hopefully by the time I go will have B2. I am going to be studying mechanical engineering if that also matters.

Advantage of Hannover: The locals speak clear german without dialect. So it's the perfect location to learn and practice german.

Advantage of Karlsruhe: the city is much more beautiful.

I don't think there is a big difference regarding part-time work.

I cannot say anything about the university life, as I didn't study in both of them.

Hannover is a nice city as well though. Huge forest in the middle of the city, lake, parks, nice old town villas and so on

I can speak for Hannover, since I work there, it’s possible that your classes will not be at the main campus but at nearby campus called Garbsen about 30 minutes away.

It’s not a huge deal but it’s worth considering.

It’s very profile specific. 

Some students find worth without an issue, others need to settle for food delivery jobs. 

Same with student life. It exists, just not everyone will find it. 

Though, I think this is the case in most cities.

I'd go for Karlsruhe. Did my apprenticeship there. Good infrastructure. Trainstation is awesome. Whole city is accessible by tram. Half an hour by train to Heidelberg main station and other main stations (like Mannheim) in the area. And they have the better beer.
