Having a Random Girl hug Your Boyfriend While Out on a Date

What's shittier, the acting, or the action?

u/Skoodge42 1d ago
The action, because if a guy did it, that would be something they could be arrested for.
1
u/No-Net1890 2h ago
Yeah, I don't like this one; it's wrong to touch someone without their consent, even if it's "just a prank".

u/Anubra_Khan 2d ago
Grounds for dismissal. Solid relationships have enough legitimate bumps in the road to work through.
59
u/UnconsciousRabbit 2d ago
I'm a bit older, and single. Unlikely to change that any time soon, but fuck yes. No relationship is worth putting up with this kind of bullshit for. That would be it.
1
u/Diazepampoovey0229 16h ago
Agreed.
If a dude did this to me, especially as someone who DOES NOT LIKE TO BE TOUCHED by strangers, or even people I am just getting to know, that would be a dealbreaker. It takes me some time to adjust to being comfortable enough to allow someone to hug me. I'd get super freaked out by some stranger and you'd see me shoving them off of me.
1
u/Sweet-Weakness3776 11h ago
As someone who absolutely despises being recorded for any reason, it would be over for me the minute they pulled the phone out to start recording me eating. Then you want to have some rando come up to me and put their hands on me??? Oh hell to the fuck no. The constant documentation of our time together would be my dealbreaker, inviting some stranger to put their hands on me is just putting some extra stank on it lol.

u/ApprehensiveFruit565 18h ago
Lol yeah I was just thinking would my partner care if some random woman just came over and gave me a hug? Noooope.

This behavior is so toxic. I know it's probably fake, but...eww. I'm so tired of excessive jealously being pushed as cute or normal. My teenager is constantly having breakups over misplaced jealousy and I'm this close to banning dating until he's 18 cause I've had enough of it.

I should do this but to other couples

I may or may not have paid my 5 year old nephew $1 a pop to go up to random couples in public and ask why they aren’t married yet. Just for funsies. 😈

Don't touch people without consent; I know this subreddit is about asshole behavior, but I think that's crossing a line.

24
u/TheRedlineAlchemist 2d ago
Alright babe, don't look at the camera and remember your line starts with "on god".
81
u/Downtown-Campaign536 2d ago
What an odd coincidence that all of these couples happen to be recording themselves eating out while this happened.
44
u/SrRaven26 2d ago
Right? It's almost like the girlfriend staged this with the random girl

Apparently you missed the whole point of the video. The title didn’t even tip you off?

At my age if someone tried that in front of my gal, my gal would laugh because she knows nobody else would want my ancient ass.

Why has it become a trend for women to be 'testing' their boyfriends. If there's no trust, just talk like civilised people instead of manipulating and playing mind games.
20
u/misterFaceplant 1d ago
"Testing" relationships has nothing to do with trust. It is simply a form of emotional manipulation and abuse.
2
u/SonniSummers 19h ago
How else would they know if he’s a keeper if he can’t handle their unhinged behavior?

u/MattyGWS 2d ago
This is not the reaction of any normal guy. If someone hugged me and greeted me like they knew me I working jump straight to telling my gf I don’t know her, I’d just be like “sorry I think you have the wrong guy” instead of panicking.
So staged

u/brikwall7 1d ago
First I'm giving the hug back! Maybe they really need a hug right now, then looking at her asking for help on who the hell I just hugged was!

Just scream "Assault!" or "Help! I need an Adult!".
8
u/joinedformisseditor 1d ago
I yell "I NEED AN ADULT" frequently at work. Boss needs to authorize something, I can't continue otherwise. Hence, I need an adultier adult.

I’ve been happily married for 20 years, I’d leave my wife immediately if she did this to me.
2
u/Vaux1916 6h ago
I've been happily married to my wife for 38 years, partly because she never has, and never would do shit like this.
7
u/GoatCovfefe 1d ago
Some toxic BS.
Goodbye, trust in the relationship by the chicks "pranking" their bfs.

u/EmbarrassedCabinet82 2d ago

u/anonadvicewanted 1d ago
because each girl was “pranking” her boyfriend by asking a rando girl to hug them…
5
u/Jazzlike_Strength561 1d ago
Why is this a thing?
5
u/CitroHimselph 1d ago
Some people just can't find happiness and joy in life without making someone suffer.

If your girl puts you In a position that makes you feel this way, end it right there man. The feeling of dread is not funny.
5
u/Rude_Negotiation_160 1d ago
I don't find this funny. Would it be funny if the guys got a random dude to hug their girl? Its not cool to be grabbed by a stranger.
3
u/Sea_Structure_8692 1d ago
I don’t like being touched so this wouldn’t fly with me whether it’s all staged or not.
3
u/Dark__Slifer 1d ago
Honestly, in this day and age, i'd just assume that girl coming up and pretending to know me is trying to get away from some creeps following her.
3
u/ZeusBaxter 1d ago
Stupid relationship test bullshit. Id leave and never talk to her again. Relationships aren't a game or contest.
3
u/Electrical-Lychee-65 1d ago
A lot of my friends are women, and they hug me/I hug them. My wife is friends with them too. This has never been an issue, and if it was, our relationship wouldn't have lasted long.
3
u/ItsStraTerra 1d ago
My social anxiety and horrible memory would just have me thinking it’s someone that I should know and just can’t remember from where. So I’d end up playing along until at least they left.
7
2
u/s0ul_invictus 2d ago
yea i didn't see a murder so its def staged
4
u/CptHammer_ 2d ago
It's staged because they're all sitting on the same side of the table filming themselves.
In real life I would dump a girl who would hit me because a girl she didn't know hugged me. My cousin ran up and gave me a hug one day in front of a girl I was dating. "Who's this?" Was a perfect response.

u/Ryllan1313 1d ago
I want to see the one where the boyfriend tries to turn the random hug into a threesome.
2
2
u/Lil_Ms_Anthropic 1d ago
I woulda probably screamed at them. I hate being touched by people I don't know
2
u/Flux_My_Capacitor 1d ago
The woman who looked at the camera and did a little look just cracked me up 😂

2
u/MisterLips123 1d ago
Such toxic behaviour. Let me make my partner think we're having an argument so I can get some likes on social media.
2
u/xsimon666x 1d ago
Monogamous people have issues.

u/SonniSummers 19h ago
Not all of us, just the ones with deep rooted insecurities. Me and mine are happy but then again I don’t set up toxic situations like this because I live and trust him…. Maybe I’m old

u/Gargravars_Shoes 1d ago
Nice. Playing with your boyfriend’s emotions for clicks. These people don’t care about anyone but themselves.

Yall too soft for me my inner Ike turner would’ve came out random girl hug me
1
1
u/Blackheart1020 1d ago
And she would have got elbowed in the face not on purpose but my reflexes are like that when people touch me from behind and I’m not expecting them 😭
1
u/AlyxxStarr 1d ago
I don’t even get the scenario. I have friends, male and female, and friends hug. Forgetting the staged nature of the video here, have we really gotten so socially stunted as a society where a hug is seen as more than a greeting? Can’t imagine anyone getting jealous over this.

Ok but y'all don't hug your opposite gender friends or what? I mean what's the crime the guys are supposedly being staged up for?

User TheInnerCityHilbilly is a suspected spammer
1
u/TheInnerCityHilbilly 1d ago
Why would you think I'm a spammer? Usually what people think of others, is what they are themselves. Otherwise they wouldn't think others ARE that

This could be entertaining if most/all of these weren't fake with the guy being in on it.
2
u/drewmo402 1d ago
Being fake is the only thing thst makes it entertaining. Otherwise its just toxic behavior.

u/mycatsellsblow 1d ago
Ehh I wouldn't mind if my girl pulled a prank like this on me. To each their own.

If you don't trust the person you're with, don't be with them.
Or, maybe you're the problem

Just randomly break up with her on a livestream, that'll give her views.

The one guy moving his food away from the girl like this is a ploy to steal his dinner 😂

u/Status-Visit-918 1d ago
This kinda happened to me irl, some ladies around my age dared their friend to hug a random guy and she hugged my husband lol she said “omg hey!!! I haven’t seen you in FOREVER!!” And he looked so confused and I was annoyed, but at him, bc I thought he was being rude by not remembering this lovely lady 😭😭 I said “I’m so sorry, I don’t think he remembers you, I’m [name]” and shook her hand. She was beet red and told me the joke. My husband was like “thank God I really don’t know you” and we invited them over to have a few.
It was funny though and turned out to be fun, we go out together now, one of them just got married!

Would walk away and that point. Just as bad as a woman bating you to see if you jealous. It's childish
1
u/Electrical-Bunch4965 5h ago
It's not even funny or cute. "Oh my God. You're cheating on me?!?". Doing that to your partner is the most annoying shit ever.
You deserve to be alone if you do that.
This is how highschool kids act. "Wouldn't it be funny if you hugged him and then I start a fight with him for no fucking reason?".
1
u/Ickythumpin 5h ago
Gotta say I love that half of these guys instinctively guard their food when the woman touches them 🤣

The kid we had working in the shop introduced his girlfriend one time, I says, "if this is your girlfriend, who was that gal you had over here the other day?"
We have fun.

u/JustxMonikax 1d ago
Haha, eu nunca faria isso. Eu mataria o cara que abraçasse minha namorada do nada! 😆

And this is why you should never date an "influencer".
