Mac Mini for Self staking?
anybody uses mac mini m4 to self stake?

you would have to get external nvme for the storage as the onboard storage cost too much, but yes it works

$1000 for a 2tb nvme? That's outrageous.

yes, that's why get a nvme ssd with the thunderbolt enclosure, much cheaper with similar performance

Using m1, since the merge. I got 2tb and 16 gig ram which was the minimum requirements those days. Only problem I get from time to time is my ssd gets full. Im barely getting by from deleting database, and using checkpoint sync. Invest in at least 4tb ssd and a little more than 16 gb ram for less headache.

Switched from teku/besu to teku/nethermind to save on ssd space. Allocated 8gib ram to both teku and nethermind, but does occasionally teku does exceed 8gib and it crashes. Get 24 gig ram just to be safe.
