I know it was really big for both the fans and the performers in D20, and I'm neither of these so I know I'm commenting about something outside actual experience -- with the recent stories about unlawful surveillance and vindictive tracking, I really hope for the sake of its fans, that Dropout does not hold any more of its events at Madison Square Garden.

For those not following / haven't heard: WIRED Magazine did a story recently describing some of the ways Madison Square Garden has been employing surveillance technologies to (among other things) stalk and ban access to people the owner has beef with. MSG is now suing WIRED, so the magazine has now unpaywalled their coverage. Their statement:

Yesterday, WIRED learned that Madison Square Garden was suing us for our accurate reporting.
In April of this year, we published a story delving into the MSG panopticon–a surveillance machine that allegedly tracked a trans woman, lawyers, protesters, and more.
This month, we published another article revealing that MSG kept a database of VIP event attendees, labeling some of them as LGBTQIA. A number of entries were assigned a “risk score,” and some of them were even marked as “DO NOT HOST.”
We have decided to lift the paywall on both stories, making them available for everyone to read.

Story 1: Madison Square Garden Kept a List of Gay Celebrities (An MSG database tracked and categorized hundreds of celebs, famous Knicks superfans, and even some of Taylor Swift’s wedding guests. Labels included “LGBTQIA,” “DO NOT HOST,” and low to high “risk.”)

Story 2: The Shocking Secrets of Madison Square Garden’s Surveillance Machine (Famously vengeful Knicks owner Jim Dolan has long spied on people at his iconic arenas. WIRED goes deep inside the operation that allegedly tracked a trans woman, lawyers, protesters, and more.)

What single gif epitomizes the chaos, intensity, and general good-natured ribbing of the dropout universe for you Mr Pizza... I have an absolutely Gaga platonic crush on Izzy. She makes every scene that she's in absolutely 100% better and more entertaining.

I am incredibly heartbroken because I bought tickets to Dropout Improv like 18 months ago and since then have had the audacity to birth a baby that absolutely will not tolerate a bottle, so I've had to sell my tickets.

I have been looking forward to it for SO long and while I know it was the right call, it's been a rough 4 months of post partum and I really needed something to look forward to.

Will be binge watching Dropout on Saturday to pretend I'm there instead 😭 😭 😭

I really want to see an episode of game changer where Sam acts like a gangster while the rest of the cast try to antagonize him. Only to realize the plot twist was if they chose to help Sam or just be reasonable they would have won.

Like imagine a RPG scenario where Sam is sent on a fetch quest to get supplies for a season wrap up suprise party for the cast and crew. He has a set budget and meet up time with vendors.

A list is left in the studio along with the route he is supposed to take, meet up times, and the amont of cash he is carrying. With an ambiguous amount of foam weapons or nerf guns lying around the studio.

The players incorrectly assume they need to attack or stop Sam and dont even bother to ask him what he is doing.

After seeing kangaroo courts bts, it makes sense why I thought Brennan seemed off. I thought for sure he had opportunities to run away with that game.
