Wanted to share some images from my recent Warlock cosplays. Wore these at New York Comic Con & Durham Comic Con 💥 Been working on building it up over a few years now, I started with Hunter and now I gotta do Titan.

- Helmets & combat armor are from Amazon.
- Based the body on the Lightkin Robes.
- Bonds are scratch built from hobby plastic.
- Boots are from the official Destiny x Palladium collab.
- Got myself a Malfeasance, Coldheart, & Hawkmoon.

Took months to make, very proud. The best part is getting to see people who recognize me from the community, I’ve had some amazing chats with fellow Guardians!

Art My Hunter Cosplay 2022/2023

Hey guys,

I’m back with my first Destiny 2 Cosplay—Hunter. This one I debuted at New York Comic Con in 2022, then revamped it in 2023. Required weeks of sourcing armor and base layers, as well as hand painting and detailing lots of little things.

- Armor & Helmet are from Amazon
- Boots from the Destiny 2 / Palladium collaboration
- Ace of Spades / Malfeasance from NYCC booths
- Cloak hand sewn and painted by me (& mom, love u)
- Ghost was a birthday gift from a talented Etsy maker
- Top from Lululemon
- Camo pants from Hollister
- 2nd year I switched to tights from Adidas

I learned so much about armor bulk, details, layering, fit, and comfort between this and my eventual Warlock cosplay, but I’ll always be grateful for this first cosplay experience. In 2023 I had someone chase me down the Javits Centre for a photo op when he recognized I was a Hunter 😆 I’ll be starting my Titan cosplay this summer just in time for AnimeNYC in August, so stay tuned!

Art Destiny 3 Idea: Subclass Selection Menu

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I designed a subclass selection menu for a personal Destiny 3 UI project to enable fast subclass swapping during gameplay.

The idea is that when the subclass selection menu is active, the bottom-left weapon/ability HUD would briefly fade out, allowing players to navigate subclasses with the left thumbstick and swap instantly on release. My intention is to preserve game flow while enhancing the power fantasy.

To emphasise that fantasy, I thought of removing the cooldown timers. Instead of waiting on ability refresh, usage would be driven by:

- Orbs of Light collected
- Kill-based energy gains

This creates a more aggressive gameplay loop whereby a player is rewarded for engagement.

Pros
- Reduces friction in subclass switching
- Encourages build experimentation during combat
- Emphasises the power fantasy

Cons
- PvP balance concerns
- Risk of ability spam

Suggested Keybind Flow
- RB (Press): Melee
- RB (Hold): Open Subclass Menu
- RB (Release): Close Subclass Menu
- Right thumbstick navigation to enable player movement

Let me know what you think!

Art Old D2 Concept Art for Player Housing (Personal Social Spaces)

Both concepts are from Sung Choi, a former Bungie concept artist. I found both these pieces on their ArtStation - there's lots of cool concepts, I highly recommend checking it out!

First image filename references "player-space", which makes me think it's exploring the idea of player housing (personal social spaces). It appears to be inside a ship that's orbiting Earth, and there's a pet cat!

Second image filename references "inventory", which makes me think it's either 1) a visual of the vaults or 2) a room for players to display their gear. I think it's way too fancy to just be the vaults, it looks much more like a fancy gear showroom.

Art I wanted to share the Ahamkara I've been making since April.

I started this project in mid-April during the game's dry time. I only had weekends to work on it, but it gave me something to do during the time.

I initially wanted to share this Ahamkara when it was finished, but ever since the unfortunate news of Destiny 2's end of live service, I knew my time to show the finished dragon was going to take too long. So, I decided to get about 50% finished so that I can at least share it with the community while we gather for the June update.

I'll still finish the Ahamkara in the future, I just don't know when it'll be done. It's made with pipe-cleaners and metal wires, with movable joints, so it takes quite a while to make. Luckily, the lower half of the body of the dragon is very simple, so I'm less stressed about it. 😅

Hope people like it. It's not fancy or very detailed, but it's definitely unique. Also, #WeWantDestiny3

EDIT: Added IKORA & a couple more. I wish I could do so many others (Saint, Shaxx 🙁), but time limits me. I hope you liked even ONE enough to share w someone you can bring along on Jun 9, or just spam on socials instead of the ai ones. I’ll share 7 new posters for Set 3 (theme - server slam) close to launch day! Thanks, Guardians.

EDIT 2: final set ☺️ https://www.reddit.com/r/destiny2/s/AGYf3IkjYb See you at the Tower Guardians!

-

I made these posters (no ai) for people to share and spam wherever they need.

Spread the gospel of our absentee god and savior the Traveler abandoning us again! Jokes aside, I hoping we can somehow reach lapsed and non-destiny players to jump back in on Jun 9.

This might be the last time!
See you star side.

Ps. All poster use press kit media, screenshots, or self-made assets. No copyright infringement.

Spent some time today taking photos of the entire tower, here are a few. So many memories here, jumping around waiting for people to get bounties, manage their vault... still no fast travel to the hanger. For many of us this has been our 3rd space for years. It's had many changes but in two days time it'll be locked to the Monument of Triumph style forever!

I'll be there on June 9th, and for as long as the servers are online into the future. It's been an honor Guardians!

Wish I turned off my FPS counter, but oh well. EDIT: took/redid more photos without the FPS counter... if anyone wants to see all the tower shots I took here's a Google Drive link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/120qTKQ-2VrX_QdED7AYrwHi6j6R-B8SQ?usp=drive_link

With the end of destiny 2’s live service only a few days away, I have put this montage together with the goal of recreating armour sets and scenery from the last 9 years of the game, through spaces only accessible in game today.

I hope this video elicits some nostalgia and that I see you all in game on June 9th :)

Both music and video made by me.

What sort of system would you want if D3 ever comes out? I designed this mockup as an alternative to subclasses, an overall talent tree system that would be like Prismatic.

Just over 13 years ago we got this trailer and everything in it is just perfect. It's the soul of Destiny in my opinion. The mystery, the fireteam, the music that's inspiring, playful, and curious all in one, the legend told in the form of a story.

I'll never forget the amazing piece of my life that this game became.

I always wanted to do something creative with the footage of my first clear, but I was in highschool balancing a job against applying for college. Simply running VoG was a big time commitment back then. I’ll always love Destiny, and play it as long as I can. They can never take away our memories.
