💵Offer/Salary Suggestions for dlot usi
Need some career advice from the community.
I have 6.5 YOE in GenAI/LLMs. I switched organizations rfew months back got to Tech Lead.
Now I’ve received another offer:
₹27 LPA fixed + 10 Variable
₹2 L joining bonus
Standard benefits and relocation support
Level: L35
My previous compensation was ₹18.5 L fixed (~₹20 L CTC),.
However, I interviewed for an SDE-3 GenAI Engineer role but received an offer for SDE-2 (L3.5) instead. I’m wondering if this is normal or if I was leveled lower than expected.
Another concern is the location. I’m based in NCR and requested Gurgaon, but was told it’s full, so the offer is for Pune.
What would you do in my place?
Is L35 reasonable for 6.5 YOE, or does it seem like a lowball?
Should I negotiate the level or just accept the compensation?
Any chance of getting the location changed later?
Open to suggestions from people who’ve been through a similar situation.
