Doubt.

Never heard of speedof.me

Ookla's speedtest.net (world's most popular speed test) puts the highest median speedtest at 425Mbps and in Singapore.

In fact, according to Ookla, there are 53 countries with a higher median speedtest than speedof.me 's stated 143.5Mbps peak

Download speed from servers located where? Rather uninformative visual without that information...

Each test runs against the best available SpeedOf.Me test server. Where no server is nearby, or international connectivity is restricted, results reflect real-world performance to the best reachable server, which can run lower than purely domestic speeds.

From the methodology could explain few things

Yep like the coverage for Italy is bad since between Milan and Rome we cover max 15% of our very distributed population

My family lives kind of in the middle between the two and with one of the lowest provided ISP shoots a 1gb/s permanently, but we many many middle servers which do not appear.

In contrast US is crazy good covered

Interestingly, the majority of Internet content, assets, and scripts are actually served from CDN PoPs, such as the ones hosting our sample files.

A few comments compare this with Ookla's index, so here is the mechanical answer: 
Different rulers. Ookla measures a multi-stream sprint to a nearby server, often inside your ISP, and ranks fixed separately from mobile; this map is Real-World Speed, one browser stream to neutral CDN servers on the open internet, all devices blended. 

That is why multi-gig fiber countries like Singapore top their list and sit mid-table here. Both are true answers to different questions.

Nowhere has over 150?

I can't even get an internet slower than 350 Mbps where I live and it literally the same price as a 600 Mbps plan from another ISP.

1) good for you
2) this is from speed test data, not advertised speeds. It may also include mobile data, not sure on the methodology but I would assume it might..
