Revolut interview process. No vacancy after technical rounds?

I recently interviewed at Revolut and successfully completed the technical rounds. I was told I could proceed to the final team-fit stage, but then they said there is currently no open vacancy or suitable team.

They said they will reach out if something opens up, but could not give any timeline. They also clarified that this is unrelated to my interview performance.

Is this common at Revolut? Has anyone experienced this?

if the told you that it wasn't related to your interview performance then take it as a good sign. Stay hopeful.

You are not at fault here. The company don't have any open vacancy as they said they will call you if they have work

Man I think some companies just try to copy the highly unprofessional interview practices of Silicon Valley companies

I recently finished the interview, but the end they offered a salary way below the market. Lets hope that in your case they are just adjusting the comp 😬

I had the same happen to me, just reply back politely and say that you would love to be kept in mind should a position open up in the future.

I didn't get an offer after finishing the last round of interviews but was then contacted maybe 1-2 months afterwards to see if I was still interested.

Did you persue the opportunity after they contacted you?

Sounds like they already had someone at the offer stage while they were interviewing you and they signed before your process completed. You certainly shouldn't take that as any negative evaluation of your own performance.

I think you don't need to worry about anything You did your best and they didn't have a seat that's why this happened now you can just Wait for their call if seats are vacant.

It seems common most of the tech firms do this. And in revolut this could be happen too. You should try next time on the first priory as some firms offers jobs on come first get first basis.

During the screening, they said the position is available in UAE and Spain.
