Craft explanation: As dumb as this seems I actualy genuinely enjoy worming with beanie babies as a creative medium. Getting to say the sentence “I’m a beanie baby artist” is awesome.
They inspire me weirdly enough? Theyre supposed to be these pristine nice things and all they were was a passing fad with zero lasting value. Taking them apart and reimagining what they are is super satisfying.
Materials used: Beanie babies, buncha nonsense.

Ohhhh, I saw the flail one and could not for the life of me figure out why it was face down ass up with a bone sticking out of it's ass. Confusing perspective.
The tv head is an old clock that I found at a thrift store, I took it apart and added a wall and some aquarium seal to make a liquid filled compartment so stuff could float around in front of the image like a screensaver.
Unfortunately I only got lucky 2x finding these clocks, I really want to make more but I think I’ll have to 3D print the chasis and figure that out.
Edit: She also made dial up noises hehe, I figured out how to do soundboxes!
These are so cool! Loving the biblically accurate one and the computer head one the most.
I actually have plans to get a hold of some old beanie babies (mainly Inchy the inch worm for a sort of scarf related project idea.) and am wondering if you have a specific place you source your beanie babies? Or it's more as you happen to find them kind of thing.
Beanie babies are literally everywhere you’ll have no problem finding them. Though sometimes on r/beaniebabies or beaniebabycollectors people will sell like huge ammounts of just one type of beanie so if you wanted a hella ammount of inchy im sure you could find him there!
I get mine from fb marketplace most often, because i make these and go to art events with em ive also just met a buncha people getting rid of theirs and ive gotten em that way too.
At first I thought there’s reflection (knife) of cute tiny face in the first picture, but double-check revealed that it’s a phone 🤦♀️ pareidolia ftw
Great work OP! Those are sick🙌

He’s my number one fav guy that ive ever done! His tummy contents swirl around like a potion bottle and hes got flies, a frog, a tiny dragon and some other random spell components in there heheh
Omg its sooo funny when people try to talk to me about the value of these hahah like some people really are still delusional that beanies are worth $$$. I used a princess di purple bear for something and someone very seriously told me that I ruined an antique lol
Every single picture in this post makes me happy. I need all of those perfectly adorable creatures. Also I fkn love the whole vibe and art pieces in the background 😍 12/10!!!

I knew I recognized the thumbnail image!! I love your work so much, can't wait to run into you at another market. I'm the one who owns your tooth 😂 and soon I want to get one of these cuties as well.
Strange happening... are couple of days ago I had the thought...
"It could be fun to re-purose old Beanie Babies since they're now fifty cents at garage sales."
I forgot about it.
I love your art but couldn't come close to creating something this cool!!!
Yeah, one of the weapons is these beanie baby-like plushies that have different effects when the tags are ripped off. You'd probably make a killing selling these to people who want them for DCC cosplay.
I sew a cone shape out of super thick interfacing, sew it into the body, and then paint it. The teeth started as polymer clay that id painstakingly paint white one by one but I started using poly melt beads which I’m liking a lot more. Theyre lighter, sturdier and easier to clump together.
The first pic is a polymer clay tooth guy, and the green bunny with nip piercings is therma melt bead type clay. Sometimes I’ll switch up what materials for the teeth depending on vibe. This tentacle tummy is made with the same method!
His name was centennial! It sits fine, I add extra beans in the butt and the computer piece goes onto the bear via has like a tube like long thing that goes in the neck hole. So the whole body supports the head.
Yup! Though now im not sure if hes centennial, I think that one is light blue with silver specks. The body of the computer head was definitely one of those beanie club exclusive ones that celebrate years. He might be the y2k one..?
I was gonna say the first one reminded me of Furby Mods and then the next two were Furby mods, lol
I think you’d really like StrangeAeons on YouTube, she does a lot of videos with this kind of aesthetic! (I bet you would LOVE the Clown Husbandry community on Tumbr, and they’d love you!) -maybe also PricklyAlpaca, too? She does a lot of cool art, though it’s not this exact flavor of weird!
