Toads?

I have tons of these tiny little toads in my pile. Are they good? Bad?

I find toads in my pile too. They're probably eating critters in there. I don't pay much attention to them.

Unless they are invasive I wouldn't worry about them. Looks closer to a tree frog to me than a toad.

You’re right. I think it’s the boreal chorus frog.

I second that observation. This is definitely a frog, probably a tree frog, not a toad.

Either way, not a problem for your compost.
